I recently elected to have a direct anterior hip replacement surgery after researching both the process and orthopedic surgeons from colleagues and friends I elected to have Dr. Metwally perform the replacement.  The process was pleasant and with minimal discomfort.  My recovery was rapid and successful.  My results were spectacular!  I am back to skiing, biking, and horseback riding, all of which had become impossible due to joint erosion and arthritis.  Dr. Metwally has been to this rodeo before!  He is warm and confident, lending a feeling of successful results with the procedure.  I have referred two of my own patients, who have had similar results.  I would not hesitate to recommend his practice to anyone considering hip replacement.  Dr. Dan W.
